ItStarts is an established on-line social media campaign organized by the Local Immigration Partnership through the County of Simcoe. It promotes inclusion, acceptance and equity within the vibrant diverse communities that make up Simcoe County. This anti-racism campaign runs throughout the month of March with participation from many local organizations. EMA has been an active Champion of this campaign since EMA’s inception. On March 2 2024, with support from Heritage Canada, EMA will launch the ItStarts Campaign through an in-person interactive family-friendly fun day in Alliston that promotes cultural understanding and exploration.
